February 2011 Walk in Workshop

Here are the cards I did for the February 2011 Walk in Workshop at SweetStamps.com retail store in Fowlerville, MI

                                                                         Daisy Card



Cut 2 circles using Cheery Lynn Designs Little Stacker Circles from cream cardstock (one to fit inside
and a larger one to fit outside of the circle on the Marigold Felt Bib card from  Papercut).  Attach circles
to the card with glue stick.  Layer the Pebbles, Inc. Daisy Sticker to the center of the cream circle.
Attach Satin Flower to sticker with a mini glue dot and apply Buttercup Liquid Pearls, to the center,
set aside to dry. Emboss the Milkweed Bib Card Overlay with Crafts-Too Small Flowers Embossing
Folder.  Attach the Gingham Ribbon by taping the tails to the back of the overlay. Attach overlay to the
card with adhesive.  Tie a knot around the ribbon on the right side of the card using a smailer piece of
ribbon and cover the knot with a button, (use  a mini glue dot to hold the button in place).

                                                           Polka Dots and Stripes Card


Layer 2 3/4” X 4 1/4“ Polka Dots and Striped paper to A2 white card.Glue coordinating Flowered Ribbon in center to cover seam.  Cut small and medium Flower Shape and Circle shape from Nellie’s
Multi Frame Die-Circle 3 in colors to match the papers. Use a hole punch to punch hold in smallest flower shape and attach the Really Big Brad from Bazzill to it.  Use glue stick to layer flowers and circle
together and adhere to ribbon with foam dots.

                                                               Happy Birthday


Layer 2 1/8” X 5 1/2” patterned papers to A2 card.  Attach solid color ribbon to seam with glue stick.  Die cut largest Scallop French Flair from solid color paper using Cheery Lynn’s Little Stackers
Scallop French Flair.  Drop down 2 die sizes and cut patterned paper. To make frame, drop down
2 more die sizes and use removal tape to attach this die in center of patterned French Flair.
Cut this out to make frame.  Layer frame to solid paper. Stamp Tile Design from SweetStamps.com
by first inking with Distress Embossing ink and then inking stamp with Nightfall Shades dye ink
(this will make your dye ink embossable) before stamping in center of frame. Emboss with Clear EP
and heat with heat gun. Use same technique to stamp Happy Birthday from SweetStamps.com
on solid paper and trim with MIni Scallop scissors. Layer both pieces to the card using foam dots.

                                                                  Scallop Tag Card


Tear patterned paper in small pieces.  Use adhesive to layer paper pieces randomly to Scallop Tag card from Paper Cut.  Trim excess paper around card as needed.  Use glue stick to attach ribbon to card and trim around scallop.  Cut 3 circles from Cheery Lynn’s Little Stackers Scallop Circle dies using the 3 smallest dies and the  same paper that was used for the card.  Apply Wild Honey and Rusty Hinges Distress inks to edges of the circles and layer together using glue stick. Use foam dots to layer on card. Add Pearl to center of circle.

                                                                         Pot Of Gold

Stamp Shamrock background from SweetStamps.com in Forest Shades Dye ink to front of 3” X 3” white card.  Die cut Nellie’s Eastern Circle from dark green paper.  Edge with Gold Leafing Pen, set aside.  Stamp Pot of Gold from SweetStamps.com using Distress Embossing ink on black paper.  Emboss with Queen’s Gold embossing powder and heat with heat gun.  Cut out pot.  Apply Quickie Glue pen to coins in pot and sprinkle with Gold Glitter.  Use glue stick to layer green die cut piece to card and use foam dots to layer pot to it. Tie sheer green ribbon to top of card.
